Lima is the capital of the Republic of Peru city. It is located on the central coast of the country , along the Pacific Ocean , forming a vast and populous urban area known as the Lima Metropolitan flanked by coastal and desert spread over the valleys of the Chillón , Rímac and Lurín rivers. It is the most populous city and was founded with the name of Ciudad de los Reyes.

The Cuzco or Cusco ( latest official spelling ) , is a city in southeastern Peru , located on the eastern slope of the Andes , in the basin of river Huatanay . Was the ancient capital of the Inca Empire and one of the most important cities of the Viceroyalty of Peru . Declared a World Heritage Site in 1983 by UNESCO, is often called , due to the large number of monuments which has , as the " Rome of America " .

Day 1: Lima Arrival to the city of Lima, assistance and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, we will stroll through the main streets, squares and avenues of the city. We will start at Parque del Amor in Miraflores, with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. Then, we will have a panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana, ceremonial center of the Lima culture. We will continue to the Plaza de Armas, where we will find the Government Palace and the Municipal Palace. We will visit the Cathedral and walk to the Convent of Santo Domingo, whose corridors were transited by San Martin de Porras and Santa Rosa de Lima in the seventeenth century and where they currently lie their remains. Lodging in Lima. Day 2: Cusco. Arrival to the city of Cusco, assistance and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit of the imperial city of Cusco. We will ascend to the Archaeological Park of Sacsayhuaman, beautiful place that radiates peace and tranquility, we will admire the enormous rocks of up to 4 meters of height, that were used in its construction. We will continue with Q'enqo, ancient temple of Puma where you can see an altar for sacrifices in the inner part of a huge rock and then with Tambomachay, sacred sources of life and health. On the way, we will have a panoramic view of Puca Pucará, watchtower that took care of the entrance to the city.Afterwards, we will go to the Korikancha, Temple to the god Inti, the Sun, on which the Church of Santo Domingo was built, the chronicles tell that this temple was covered with gold in Inca times.To finish we will know the Plaza de Armas and we will enter the Cathedral, which treasures invaluable colonial works and paintings, like the Cross that arrived with the first conquerors.Accommodation in Cusco. Day 3: Sacred Valley - CuscoThe Sacred Valley of the Incas welcomes us this day. On the way we will stop at Awanacancha, a complex where we will meet and feed Andean camelids like llamas and alpacas, in addition, local people will show us their techniques of weaving and dyeing traditional textiles. We will then arrive at the traditional Pisac Market, where we will have free time to visit it and buy handicrafts, if you are encouraged to try something traditional, go through the kilns with bread and empanadas. We will have lunch at a restaurant in the area. In the afternoon, we will continue to Ollantaytambo, a picturesque village that has been inhabited since the Inca times, where we will visit the temple of the same name, used as a fortress during the Inca resistance and from which we will obtain images of the collection. Return to the city.Overnight in Cusco. Day 4: Cusco - Machu PicchuWe will drive to Ollantaytambo Station, where we will depart by train to meet one of the 7 Wonders of the World. We will arrive at the station of Aguas Calientes, where our staff will assist us to board the transportation that will ascend by an intricate road giving us a spectacular view of the Urubamba River that forms the famous canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will welcome you with its incredible terraces, stairways, ceremonial precincts and urban areas. The energy emanating from all over the place.After a guided tour, we will have lunch at one of the restaurants in the area. We will stay in one of the hotels in Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu, which will allow us more time in this enclosure. Day 5: Machu Picchu - CuscoMorrow morning. Tickets for Machu Picchu are limited, we recommend to request tickets for later days at the time of booking the program and thus avoid congestion or lack of availability locally. In an additional visit to Machu Picchu we can visit sectors such as Intipunku or Puerta del Sol, the entrance to the citadel of the Inca Trail. For those who want a more intense adventure visiting the Huayna Picchu, it must be considered that there are only 400 places per day to carry out ascents, which must be previously reserved. At the coordinated time, we will return by train and be transferred to the hotel. Accommodation in Cusco.
