 Day 1
Arrival at Zvartnots Airport
Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel. We will walk through the remarkable parts of Yerevan. We will start our walk from the Plaza de la República, which is located in the center of the city. The Museum of History, the National Gallery, the singing fountains are located in the plaza area. From the Republic Square begins North Avenue, which represents the modern part of Yerevan, in front of which we will find the Armenian National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet. We will walk towards the famous waterfall. Climbing up the stairs of the Cascade and reaching the statue of Mother Armenia, you will enjoy the incredible view of the center of Yerevan and Mount Ararat. Downstairs is a garden with statues of contemporary sculptors like Botero, Lynn Chadwick, and Barry Flanagan. You will have the opportunity to visit the Museum built by the brilliant memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide and the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial. Then we will visit the Holy See of Echmiadzín which is the seat of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The Echmiadzín Cathedral was built in 303 and is one of the most exceptional architectural samples of the 4th century. Then we will continue our way to Zvartnots. The temple was built in the 7th century and has remained until the end of the 10th century. The Zvartnots temple and the Holy See of Echmiadzín are inscribed on the UNESCO "World Heritage list". Day 3
Breakfast at the hotel. We go to the Ararat region, we will visit the famous Khor Virap which is located west of the Araks river. The importance of the Khor Virap church is relatively connected to Saint Gregory the Illuminator who made Christianity an official religion. From here an incredible view of the Biblical Mount Ararat opens up. Then the path will take us to the Noravank monastery, located in a canyon in the rural community of Areni, near the town of Yeghegnadzor. Noravank was one of the bishops' residences in the early 13th century. There are many khachkares (stone crosses) in the territory of the complex, among which are the khachkares of the famous architect and sculptor Momik, distinguished by their high artistic merits. We arrive at the Areni village winery where you will have the opportunity to taste the Armenian homemade wine. In the Areni village, the oldest wine cellar in the world has been found in the cave, it is approximately 6000 years old. Accommodation at the hotel in Yerevan.
Day 4
Breakfast at the hotel. Today's excursion includes a visit to the 1st century pagan Temple of Garni. Garni was dedicated to the sun god Mihr and is the only pagan temple preserved in the Caucasus region and in the area of ​​the former Soviet Union. Then a visit to the Gueghard monastery awaits us, which is also known as “Ayrivank” which means “church carved into the rock”. The monastery was built in the 4th century during the first years of the adoption of Christianity as a state religion. The Gueghard Monastery is inscribed on the UNESCO "World Heritage List". We return to Yerevan. We will visit the fruit market, where you can taste Armenian sweet fruits and raisins, also buy something if you want. Accommodation at the hotel in Yerevan.
Day 5.
Breakfast at the hotel. We will take the road to Lake Sevan located 70km from the capital of Yerevan in the province of Gegharkunik. Seván is the second largest high mountain lake in the world, after Lake Titicaca in South America. On the Sevan peninsula is the Sevanavank monastery - founded by Gregory the Illuminator in 305. We will continue our journey to the city of Diliján which has been called “Little Switzerland” of Armenia due to its fabulous nature of dense forests and rocky mountains . We are going to visit the monastic compound of Goshavank, which is located in the territory of the Diliján National Park, it is one of the famous religious, educational and cultural centers of the XII - XIII centuries. In Diliján we will visit a local house where you can see how the Armenian sweet sujukh is prepared and taste it. We return to Yerevan. Hotel accommodation.

Día 6.

Desayuno en el hotel. Vamos a la región de Aragatsotn. Si el tiempo nos permite, visitaremos la fortaleza medieval de Amberd (siglo X) que con su posición natural y las estructuras defensivas tenía una reputación de fortaleza inexpugnable. *En caso si el tiempo no nos permite visitar Amberd, visitaremos el monasterio de Hovhannavank. La excursión también incluye visita al Monumento del Alfabeto Armenio, fundado en 2005 en la conmemoración del 1600 aniversario de la creación del alfabeto armenio. Consiste de 39 letras armenias. Luego conduciremos hacia el Monasterio divino de Saghmosavank. El monasterio, cuyo nombre literalmente se traduce “monasterio dedicado a los salmos” está situado en el borde del cañón del río Kasakh. La localización del Monasterio de Saghmosavank nos da la posibilidad de gozar de panorama excepcional de la naturaleza armenia teniendo en vista el gran cañón. Volvemos a Ereván.
